Kicking off a housing transformation programme for WHG
I designed and facilitated a full day workshop to get the programme started for Walsall Housing Group (WHG).
The session introduced service design thinking in a way that felt relevant to housing. We talked about how to design around tenant needs and shared real examples from the sector.
Teams then listed all the housing services they deliver and sorted them into now, next and later. We ran a SWOT activity to explore risks and opportunities. The session gave people time to think, reflect and work across team boundaries.
By the end of the day we had a first pass service list and a clearer sense of priorities. The session helped kickstart the programme with a strong foundation built around user centred thinking.
